The Cash Café offers free courses and resources to empower young people to take control of their cash.

Mission
In school, we’re taught trigonometry, algebra, and calculus—but rarely practical, everyday advice about the fundamentals of managing money.
Finance impacts our daily lives—paying tax, opening up a bank account, creating a budget, paying rent, understanding credit cards and student loans, and much more—yet we’re expected to learn it by trial and error, with almost no structured guidance.
This knowledge gap makes young people vulnerable to crippling debt, bad credit scores, scams and fraud. Failing to pay taxes can even become a crime, with a lifelong impact. As usual, the people most at risk are those from less-privileged backgrounds.
I created the Cash Café to give my generation—teens and young adults of all backgrounds—the tools and knowledge to make sound financial decisions. With our free workshops, courses, and resources, The Cash Café exists to empower my generation to take control of their cash, so that we can all live more prosperous lives, follow our dreams, and pay it forward.
